MHSC LMPs 2008

ELIGIBLE CARS

Any Car from the following Manufacturers that has Competed in LMP1 or 2 at Le Mans or in the ALMS or LMS

Avant, Sloter, Ninco, Scalextric, Fly, SCX, Spirit.

 

ELIGIBLE MOTORS

 

NC1, NC2, NC3, NC4, NC5, NC6, NC7, Reprotec NC2 clones, RX4, RX6, RX Pro Turbo & Plus, Mabuchi S, Pro Slot Evo 1,2, 3, & 4, Oz Race Mabuchis, Red Bull, Slot It V12 and Boxer, Fly Mabuchi, Fly Racing, Fly Evo, Fly Truck, all MRRC/Scaleauto, all Cartrix, all Spirit, MB Slot, NSR Shark & King, all Avant.

RULES

1) No magnets may be fitted.

  • 2) Cars may run with added ballast up to 10grammes.
  • 3) Max axle width 65 mm rear, front, not more than 1mm outside the body on either side, measured with tyres fitted.
  • 4) Any axles or wheels may be used from the manufacturers of the above eligible cars provided they fit without chassis modification, including Ninco Pro-race, NSR, MB Slot, Hobby Slot, Slot.it & Slotline parts are allowed. No F1 size hubs.
  • 5) Any bearings may be used from the above manufacturers. Bearings may be glued in. Roller bearings allowed.
  • 6) Any proprietary tyres may be used front or rear provided that they fit the hubs. No silicon tyres. Tyres may be trued, tyres may be glued to hubs. No F1 size wheels.
  • 7) Any motor may be used from the eligible list in any chassis, proprietary mounts may be used. Motors may not be modified. Motors may be glued and or taped in place.
  • 8) Chassis may not be changed modified or painted, except to replace or reposition the motor. Ninco, Slot.it, Spirit or similar motor mount may be used. Any hole caused by motor re-location must be filled with plasticard. Motor must not be visible from above. On cars where exhausts protrude through the body, these may be removed.
  • 9) All cars must run with full interior and driver, except where the motor is repositioned interior may be modified. Body may be painted. Windows may not be painted. Lightweight interiors may be used but they must be from a recognised manufacturer such as Gom.
  • 10) Body screws may be run loose.
  • 11) Any guide blade may be used from the above eligible cars, provided it fits without chassis modification, guide blades and posts may be trimmed. Sprung guides may be used with or without spring or shortened spring.
  • 12) Tyres must be of a consistent natural texture. No super glue or nail varnish or similar on tyres.
  • 13) New cars or parts becoming available must be approved by the committee. Next introduction date 01/06/08.
  • 14) Anything not mentioned in the rules is not allowed.
