MHSC Classic Cars 1948-19642007

1948 Up to and including 1964.( Year Car Modeled 1st raced).

Any Classic Sports or GT car within the dates from the following manufacturers.

Ninco, Revell, Scalextric, SCX, Carrera, MRRC & Pink Car.

Additional Parts may be from the following.

Cartrix, HobbySlot, Fly, Proslot, Auto Art, Spirit & Sloter.

1. Motors up to a quoted manufacturer RPM of 20000 from the following list:

Ninco NC1, NC2, NC5, NC7: SCX all RX except Green Windings: Scalextric

Mabuchi S, 20k Mabuchi Yellow Can. Fly Mabuchi S.

2. Tyres from the named manufacturers. Maximum tyre width 9mm.

3. Wheels must be from the named Manufacturers and of the correct period.

Plastic wheels only.

4. Chassis may not be modified to change motor. Ninco motor mount may be

used in Ninco cars. SCX type mount may be used in Pink Car.

5. Chassis and body may be modified to allow body rock as long as there are no

gaps bigger than 1mm between body and chassis. ( Not 1mm all the way

round!)

6. Magnets must be removed.

7. Weight may be added to cars with front mounted motors.

8. Plastic contrates only, from named manufacturers.

MHSC Classic Porsches 2007

1. Motors up to a quoted 25k rpm from the list:

Ninco: NC2, NC3, NC5, NC6. Team Slot NC2, Spirit SC01 & SC03, Fly evo2,

Reprotec NC2, Hobby Slot Boxe r.

2. Cars must be Ninco Porsche 911/934.

3. Body, interior and Chassis must be standard, rally versions must retain standard

interior with co-driver and all extra lights. Body may be painted.

4. Wheels must be plastic and Ninco, SCX, Scalex or Fly.

5. Rear tyres must be Ninco, SCX, Scalex or Fly. Front tyres may be any that fit the

hubs.

6. Suspension must be retained. Any combination of springs may be used.

7. Body may be run loose, short screws may be replaced by longer ones.

8. Tyres must not protrude beyond the body.

9. Motor may be glued in.

10. Standard sprung guide must be used, spring may be removed.

11. Standard gearing must be retained: ie 9 tooth pinion, 27 tooth contrate.

Anything not mentioned in the rules is not allowed.

MHSC Endurance Rules 2007

1. Race duration will be between 2 &3 hrs using all six lanes.

2. Drivers will be split into teams of at least two.

3. The same car must be used throughout the race, penalty for changing car 50

laps.

4. Sessions will be 20, 25 or 30 mins. Drivers may only change at the end of the

session.

5. Teams must ensure that the drivers in the team drive for as equal a time as

possible.

6. Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out while the race timer is

running, i.e. not during changeover between sessions. Penalty for infringement

50 laps. No limit on spares.

7. Cars must comply with the class rules for the class being run.

8. Points will be awarded to all drivers in the team as follows.

1st 25 points, 2nd 24, 3rd 23, 4th 22, 5th 21, 6th 20.

9. These points will added to the average number of laps completed by the

individual drivers in 1 hour to give their total points. E.g. a driver in the

winning team compete 200 laps in an hour plus 25 for winning gives him

225 points.

10. The best 3 from 4 position scores are counted. The lap average will be

calculated from all races competed in.

11. Each team will have a team captain who will usually supply the car. The top

drivers in the Endurance championship will be team captains. At the first

round they will be the top drivers in the overall championship.

Team captains must drive the Red Lane session. Penalty 25 laps off that drivers

average for that race.

MHSC Modified Sports GT 2007

ELIGIBLE CARS

RULES

1) No magnets may be fitted.

2) Cars with in line or angle winder mounted mo tors may add up to 5 grammes ballast. Cars with side

winder mounted motors may add ballast up to 10grammes.

3) Max axle width 65 mm rear, front, not more than 1mm outside the body on either side, measured

with tyres fitted.

4) Any axles or wheels may be used fro m the manufacturers of the above eligible cars provided they

fit without chassis modification, including Ninco Pro-race, NSR MB Slot, Hobby Slot & Slotline

parts are allowed. No F1 size hubs.

5) Any bearings may be used from the above manufacturers. Bearings may be glued in. Roller

bearings allowed.

6) Any proprietary tyres may be used front or rear provided that they fit the hubs. No silicon tyres.

Tyres may be trued, tyres may be glued to hubs. No F1 size wheels.

7) Any motor may be used from the eligible list in any chassis, proprietary mounts may be used.

Motors may not be modified. Motors may be glued and or taped in place.

8) Chassis may not be changed (exception see below), modified or painted, except to replace or

reposition the motor or to reinforce the rear of the chassis on Ninco Honda NSX and Toyota Supra

angle winders. Ninco, Slot.it, Spirit or similar motor mount may be used. Any hole caused by

motor re-location must be filled with plasticard. Motor must not be visible from above. On cars

where exhausts protrude through the body, these may be removed.

9) All cars must run with full interior and driver, except where the motor is repositioned interior may

be modified. Body may be painted. Windows may not be painted. Lightweight interiors may be

used but they must be from a recognised manufacturer such as Gom.

10) Body screws may be run loose.

11) Any guide blade may be used from the above eligible cars, provided it fits without chassis

modification, guide blades and posts may be trimmed. Sprung guides may be used with or without

spring or shortened spring.

12) Tyres must be of a consistent natural texture. No super glue or nail varnish or similar on tyres.

13) New cars or parts becoming available must be approved by the committee. Next introduction date

01/06/07.

14) Anything not mentioned in the rules is not allowed.

MHSC MODIFIED TOURING CARS 2007

ELIGIBLE CARS

Any Saloon from the Following manufacturers that raced from 1980 onwards::

Ninco, Fly , SCX, Scalextric, Proslot, Carrera, Spirit, MRRC.

ELIGIBLE MOTORS

Motors will be from the following manufacturers:

Ninco, Fly, SCX, Scalextric, Proslot, Carrera, Spirit, Reprotec, Slot.it, MRRC/Scaleauto, NSR,

Cartrix, Ozrace, MB Slot, Spirit, Hobbyslot. Note: Spirit Peugeots allowed from June 1st providing

the committee approve them.

RULES

15) No magnets may be fitted.

16) Cars with in line or angle winder mounted motors may add up to 5 grammes ballast. Cars with side

winder mounted motors may add ballast up to 10grammes.

17) Max axle width 64 mm rear, but cannot be more than 1mm outside body. Front, not more than

1mm outside the body on either side, measured with tyres fitted.

18) Any axles may be used from the manufacturers of the above eligible cars provided they fit without

chassis modification.

19) Wheels must be either original or from the following manufacturers: Slot.it, Hobby Slot, Spirit or

Fly. Air hubs not allowed. No F1 size hubs.

20) Tyres may not be pneumatic to any degree.

21) Any bearings may be used from the above manufacturers. Bearings may be glued in. Roller

bearings allowed.

22) Any proprietary tyres may be used front or rear provided that they fit the hubs. No silicon tyres.

Tyres may be trued, tyres may be glued to hubs. No F1 size tyres. No Ortman Tyres.

23) Any motor may be used from the eligible list in any chassis, proprietary mounts may be used.

Motors may not be modified. Motors may be glued and or taped in place.

24) Chassis may not be changed modified or painted, except to replace or reposition the motor or to

reinforce the rear of the chassis on Ninco angle winders. Ninco, Slot.it, Spirit or similar motor

mount may be used. Any hole caused by motor re -location must be filled with plasticard. Motor

must not be visible from above. On cars where exhausts protrude through the body, these may be

removed.

25) All cars must run with full interior and driver, except where the motor is repositioned interior may

be modified. Body may be painted. Windows may not be painted. Oz V8s may run with blacked

out windows but must have an interior. Lightweight interiors may be used but they must be from a

recognised manufacturer such as Gom.

26) Body screws may be run loose.

27) Any guide blade may be used from the above eligible cars, provided it fits without chassis

modification, guide blades and posts may be trimmed. Sprung guides may be used with or without

spring or shortened spring.

28) Tyres must be of a consistent natural texture. No super glue or nail varnish or similar on tyres.

29) New cars or parts becoming available must be available from Slot 32 or Pendle Slotracing 4 weeks

before a meeting to be eligible.

30) Anything not mentioned in the rules is not allowed.

MHSC Rally Cars 2007

Any Rally Car From the Following Manufacturers.

Ninco, Fly, SCX, Scalextric, Spirit, Team Slot, Hobby Slot Cartrix & Carrera.

1. Motors up to a quoted manufacturer RPM of 25000 from the following list.

Mabuchi S, Ninco NC1,2,3,5,6,7. Team SlotNC2, RX4,RX6, pro turbo & Plus,

MHSC SCX Cars 2007

Any SCX Sports or GT Car, All Parts From the Following

Manufacturers.

Ninco, Fly, SCX, Scalextric.

1. Motors must be SCX, any motor except SRS1.

2. Rear tyres must be Fly, Ninco SCX or Scalextric’ no F1 size tyres. Front tyres

free.

3. Chassis and body may be modified to allow body rock. Minimum

modification only.

4. Chassis may not be modified to change motor

5. Magnets must be removed.

6. 4 wheel drive cars may run with or without 4 wheel drive.

7. Wheels must be plastic and either Ninco, Fly, SCX or Scalextric.

8. Interior must be standard.

9. SCX Touring Cars or Rally Cars may run at scrutineers discretion, must be

reasonably competitive.

10. Maximum axle width 65mm or no more than 1mm outside body.

11. Guide may directly wired from motor. Any guide from the 4 manufacturers

may be used.

Contrates must be plastic only.

MHSC Touring Cars 2007

Any Touring Car From the Following Manufacturers.

Ninco, Fly, SCX, Scalextric, Team Slot, Hobby Slot, Cartrix & Carrera.

14. Motors up to a quoted manufacturer RPM of 25000 from the following list.

Mabuchi S, Ninco NC1,2,3,5,6,7. Team SlotNC2, RX4,RX6, pro turbo & Plus,

MHSC Vintage F1 Cars 2006

1. Only ready to run models depicting F1 cars from 1950 to 1965 inclusive are

allowed. Exception the Cartrix Kurtiss Offy is allowed. Other Indy Cars only

with committees approval.

2. Weight may be added. Up to 5gms may be added to Cartrix cars, up 10 gms

for other makes.

3. Maximum Axle width 56mm F1, 58.5mm Kurtiss.

4. Maximum tyre width 9mm Rear. 8mm front, no minimum width.

5. Tyres and wheels must be from the following manufacturers.

Cartrix, Scalextric, Pink Car, Ninco or Carrera. Wheels must be correct for the

period, must be plastic and be as close as possible in appearance to the

originals.

6. Minimum tyre diameter, Rear: 20.5mm, Front: 19.5mm.

7. Any motor up to 25000rpm at 12v, Manufacturers rating. Motor must fit

without chassis or body modification.

8. Motor pinions may be from any manufacturer.

9. Body and chassis must be standard and correct for that model.

10. Standard driver figure must be fitted.

11. Guide may be from any of the standard manufacturers or Cartrix, Carrera or

Pink Car, unmodified, except the guide blade only may be trimmed for width

and height as necessary.

12. Car may be replaced if original is not repairable in the time available.

13. Screws must be tight.

14. Axles and Contrates may be from any of the standard manufacturers or from

Cartrix, Pink Car or Carrera. Contrate must be plastic only.

Any SCX Sports or GT Car, All Parts From the Following

Manufacturers.

Ninco, Fly, SCX, Scalextric.

1. Motors must be SCX, any motor except SRS1.

2. Rear tyres must be Fly, Ninco SCX or Scalextric’ no F1 size tyres. Front tyres

free.

3. Chassis and body may be modified to allow body rock. Minimum

modification only.

4. Chassis may not be modified to change motor

5. Magnets must be removed.

6. 4 wheel drive cars may run with or without 4 wheel drive.

7. Wheels must be plastic and either Ninco, Fly, SCX or Scalextric.

8. Interior must be standard.

9. SCX Touring Cars or Rally Cars may run at scrutineers discretion, must be

reasonably competitive.

10. Maximum axle width 65mm or no more than 1mm outside body.

11. Guide may directly wired from motor. Any guide from the 4 manufacturers

may be used.

Contrates must be plastic only.

MHSC Touring Cars 2007

Any Touring Car From the Following Manufacturers.

Ninco, Fly, SCX, Scalextric, Team Slot, Hobby Slot, Cartrix & Carrera.

14. Motors up to a quoted manufacturer RPM of 25000 from the following list.

Mabuchi S, Ninco NC1,2,3,5,6,7. Team SlotNC2, RX4,RX6, pro turbo & Plus,

Spirit SC01, SC03 & Mabuchi, Fly Evo2, Reprotec NC2,Cartrix up to25k, Hobby
